I would love to win a DVD of Journey to Paradise (because I bought a copy of The Christmas Edition when it was released!). But, my favorite Christmas tradition is one my mom started when my two brothers and I were little. She would wrap all of my presents in green tissue paper, all of my brother Dave's in red tissue paper and all of my brother Scott's in white tissue paper. That made Christmas morning so much more fun, not to mention a lot easier to find our presents. All that red, white, and green looked so pretty under the tree. thank you for the giveaway. Merry Christmas!

Hi Robin! I would absolutely love to win a copy of the movie!!! LOVE the book and can't wait to see the movie. :)

1. Are they going to be making any movies of your other books in the Turtle Creek series?

2. Here is my most recently learned (and VERY EASY) recipe for White Candy Dipped Oreo/Cream Cheese Truffles. Here is the link to the recipe I used (photos on my Facebook profile): http://www.justapinch.com/recipe/oreo-cookie-balls-by-shannon-smith-shannon?sms_ss=facebook&at_xt=4d001b5a3a69b991%2C0

I used 1 package oreos (regular), and 1 block cream cheese. put them in a food processor (bl...ender would probably work if you don't have one) until it made a dough. Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet. Put the sheet in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes so they don't fall apart in the candy coating.

While the cookie balls are in the fridge, melt candy coating (I used 1 package of Fred Meyer Vanilla Candy Coating) per instructions on the package.

Take the balls out of the fridge and put one at a time into the candy mixture. using a fork or candy dipping tool, place the coated candy on wax paper after it no longer drips too badly. Add sprinkles or other decorations before the candy is too hard. I found I could do 2-3 and then do the sprinkles.

Freeze or refrigerate prior to eating. Feel free to message me back if you have any questions.

3. A favorite Christmas tradition we have... well, 2 that I absolutely love. The first is making Ginger Bread Houses with our family and my parents. We took my kids to pick the candy and came home with 12 lbs of candy! The second is Christmas morning brunch at my parents house. We get up, open our stockings and gifts, then take the boys to my parents (2 blocks away) for brunch. We make a point to have lots of our favorite foods, including my great-grandmother's recipe for Norwegian crepes and lefsa.

Hey there, Robin! I'd love a DVD of the movie!

Christmas Tradition:

In the morning, we have bagels with cream cheese and ham...warmed in the microwave.

Then we have our boys play santa to give out the presents.

For the past couple of years, since our boys are older, we write a hint on the 'from' part of the sticker. Like if it has something to do with Star Wars, we would say, "From: Han Solo." They have a blast trying to figure out what it is.

Love ya and Merry Christmas!
